My ICT Project…. June 27, 2011

My project is on the Air Cadets of Swansea. I chose this subject because I have a lot of experience with the cadets having been a member for 5 years. I have decided to use PowerPoint for this project and I have used sound, multilevel bullets, borders around images and shading for titles of the table.
Most of the information I got from my own experiences but I did use the squadron’s website. http://www.215squadron.org.uk and www.geograph.org.uk 215 Squadron’s website has information about our first Commanding Officer Flight Lieutenant Sir Arthur Whitten-Brown (He along with Captain John Alcock flew across the Atlantic).
The other website had a nice image of the 9 British Aerospace Hawk T1 aircraft The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team The Red Arrows. These were good sites to use because they helped me with my project.
What went well: getting the information about the squadron and putting it into PowerPoint, condensing it into the suitable number of bullet points.
What was difficult: well, getting the cadets to give me their info in straight bullet points, some of them gave me straight paragraphs, but I picked out the key points so it wasn’t all that bad.
I believe, I’ve put the point across pretty well because I am confident in using the PowerPoint, have personal experience in being an Air Cadet and did my best in using formatting and other tools to make my presentation educational and amusing.
I don’t really think I’d like to improve on anything; except I wish there was an opportunity to add more slides to the overall number.
Excellent stuff, with a great amount of own research and “off-line” input. I’d like to reproduce it on the Light Aircraft Association Youth and Education Support websites if I may. (http://flyers.org.uk and http://youthaviaiton.net)
Thanks Leia, you have my permission to reproudce this on the websites mentioned above.
Cheers
