The Forest

Plot

The Forest has no real plot beyond the fact that you play as the survivor of a plane crash who now has to try and survive on a tropical island infested with cannibal mutants. To do this you have to make use of scraps that can be salvaged from the plane wreckage and resources that can be harvested from the environment.

The Long Dark

Plot

While the story has not currently been implemented fully into the game there are hints that can be found throughotu the game which can give an idea of what has happened.

The Long Dark takes place following a global catastrophe which is hinted to have completely and permanently shut-down all technology that runs off electricity. In this scenario the player is tasked with surviving in an environment that not only pits them against the cold, but also against everything nature has to throw at them.

Cities: Skylines

Plot

Cities: Skylines gives you the ability to build an control the growth of a brand new city. This involves trying to manage and control various risk levels such as: Crime, Fire, Medical, Corpse Pile-up etc. .However the player must also to make sure that there is enough water, electricity, general waste disposal services and septic waste disposal services. However, the player must also take into account the amount of money that the city is making in excess over the price of running all of its services because, if the money runs out then the player will be forced to take a loan from a bank that will need to be paid back with interest or give-up.
